Prof. Kim of Korea University Visits Dept of Education
TU-PNC, 22 May 2017 – Prof. Jin Han Kim of Korea National Sport University, Seoul, South Korea has visited Dept of Education, Prithvi Narayan Campus today.
Welcoming Prof. Kim at the Department of Education, Dept Head Khim Raj Subedi said, “We are honoured to have Prof. Kim at the Department”. Dept Head Subedi further said that Prof. Kim has shown his interest to work as a volunteer at the Department.
According to the Dept source, it is learned that Prof. Kim will be at the Department of Education, PN Campus for an academic year, starting January 2018. He will teach a course for master’s students and involved in research activities in the department.
Prof. Kim gave a short presentation on Korean education system. During his presentation, he said that Nepal has great potential for developing its economy through good education. He also said that he would give his best to support this country in developmental activities such as by helping the students and faculty of this institution.
Prof. Kim is Faculty of Education as well as the Dean of Academic and Students Affairs at Korea National Sport University, Seoul, South Korea. He is retiring in August this year and has wished to volunteer in Nepal.
Prof. Kim’s presentation was participated by the Coordinator of Master’s Evening Programs Cholakant Ojha, Associate Professor of English Dr. Min Pun and faculty members of the department.
